Decrypt Any File

There are 2 methods to decrypt a file using east-tec InvisibleSecrets.

Method 1

  1. Encrypt/Decrypt File's dialog box-sized interface is painfully plain. The Encrypt tab's dual file name and destination lines are simple affairs; enter the file path or browse through the Windows.
  2. Advanced online file encryption and decryption. Secure any file type and maintain your privacy! 1 site when it comes to locking important files. To get started, select your preferred service below.
  3. In cryptography, SHA-1 (Secure Hash Algorithm 1) is a cryptographic hash function which takes an input and produces a 160-bit (20-byte) hash value known as a message digest – typically rendered as a hexadecimal number, 40 digits long.

There's a lot of unknowns here. Everything depends on the nature of the application. I've implemented streaming video decryption in one-off desktop applications, so take it from me, video encryption/decryption is easy to implement, and there's n.

  • Open east-tec InvisibleSecrets.
  • Select Decrypt Files from the main page.
  • Select the files and folders you want to decrypt – to do this, use the Add Files / Add Folders or Add Files From Cryptboard buttons – and click the Next button when you are done.
  • Insert the Decryption Password and select the Decryption Algorithm. Note: the password and the decryption algorithm must be the same used as the ones used when encrypting
  • Click the Decrypt button to start the decryption process.
  • You are done! Click Finish to close the window.

Method 2

  • Right click on the file(s) or folder(s) you want to decrypt and from the east-tec InvisibleSecrets menu choose Decrypt. If the encrypted file has the .isc extension (the default extension for the encrypted files), then you can simply double-click it
  • Insert the Password for decryption and then select the Decryption Algorithm. Note: the password and the decryption algorithm must be the same used as the ones used when encrypting
  • Click the Decrypt button to start the decryption process.

THE ALGORITHM

This service uses 265-bit AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) encryption to transform the content of your file into unreadable cipher. The original file name can be replaced by a random one with '.enc' as file extention. The filename itself will be added to the data before the encryption process.
