hello,
since using version 8 I don’t seem to be able to drag the score anymore with two fingers on my trackpad.
The score zooms in and out at the same time.
Changing the settings for trackpad in the system setiings does not change this behaviour in Sibelius 8.
This way it seems more or less impossible to work Sibelius on my MacBook Pro..

Seems Sibelius 8 was intended for Windows, with all of the lauded improvements being more or less specifically for Surface. What a joke this is turning out to be.

Still I would like to work on my MacBook Pro; use the trackpad - not for zooming!
There must be a workaround - or it is a newly invented bug.

having the exact same issue. 8.0.1 is completely unusable on my MacBook Pro.

As a work-around:
a. use Command-click-drag to drag scores without zooming;
b. keep two-touch gestures for zooming only.

Thanks for the work around but this is a deal breaker for me. I'll stay with 7.5 until they fix this.

There were further improvements in trackpad handling in 8.3. You can try the demo version for yourself.

In Sib 8.3 we replaced some custom classes that handled scrolling in one way or another, allowing our cross platform framework Qt to handle it directly instead. It should be vastly improved when compared with 8.0 and 7.5 too.
